Project #1
Chino, CA
This water loss
claim affected a large portion of the lower-base cabinets. The ceramic
tile counter was able to be salvaged even though most of the 'guts' of the
cabinets were removed. The doors and drawers were successfully saved
as well. Our goal at this point was to keep in tact as much as
possible the remaining portions of the cabinets. After an inspection
by the city we were required to replace a portion of sheer panel that had
been removed during the emergency service. Our hopes of saving the
remaining cabinets and existing ceramic tile counter was in jeopardy.
Fortunately, with a little extra time and effort we were able to remove a
full-height cabinet with no damage to the cabinet or the ceramic tile.
With this successful task behind us our hopes of saving the remaining
cabinets and the ceramic tile counter were once again in play. Once
the dry-down is completed the restoration process will begin and the photos
representing that will soon be available.
